Surely a pricing error but good luck!

  • +3

Bought one just in case it’s honoured 🤷🏼‍♂️Cheers op.

    Thanks OP.
Better impulse buy than a wheelbarrow full of goat soap.

Sorry not sure how to post a direct link from my tablet

    • Thanks and updated.

    Purchased the space heater.
    Hope they honour the sale.

Bought a few for our new build.
    Hopefully they honor it

    • will it require install?

      • Buy now ask later

I'll worry about that after its delivered lol

        • if you got either the WF25 or SH18 then they are powerflue models so your gasfitter can install them with a vertical or horizontal flue…find an external wall and penetrate it out the back if you can

…did you happen to purchase a flue with it as well?! they are quite expensive as well

If you got the WF30 then damn, these are virtually runout stock because they aren't balance flue technology and tougher regs.

  • Thanks, bought 2 :)

Managed to get free delivery to mid north coast NSW so I assume it’s a pricing error.

  • Lol their terms and conditions state their website has accurate prices and that no prices can change after an order being placed.

Theyre really in a bad situation here…

    • +1

could you provide a link for that please? we might need it! ;)

The only thing I could find was:

      Prices
The prices payable for your order are clearly set out in the web site. All prices are inclusive of GST. The price of the items does not include the >delivery charge. You agree to pay the delivery charges specified at the time you submit your order.

We reserve the right to modify prices published on our website at any time. Prices can change and our latest price is always displayed on our website >www.billyguyatts.com.au and not any third party websites.

Prices for items ordered are fixed on acceptance of your order. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be applied to accepted orders.

      https://www.billyguyatts.com.au/terms-conditions/

That still allows them to cancel the order, IMO.

      • +3

        Nevermind :

We will use our best endeavours to supply your order, however we reserve the right to cancel any order without notice for any reason. If an order is cancelled in this manner, any payments made will be refunded fully to you

      • +1

Yer so they can’t change price but they can still cancel right .

  • how do you guys use it though?

    • +10

OMG you ruined it for everyone!

      • -6

…you should blame billy G instead

      • My bad. I thought I could save people’s time ordering it and getting a refund eventually, although the argument could be that could honour somehow.

        • +2

Should have bought the space heater too but as long as my fridge is honoured I am happy 😄😄😄

    • Fridge?????what u hiding

      • +2

        Read the post description…

        • Lol a fridge appears .

    • +1

Ordered the fridge as well - isn't big but if it comes through (pretty unlikely, but never know) then will make a good garage/drinks fridge for Christmas. Only found one review for it (https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/heller-hff366s) but they seemed happy enough with it. Only regret is I didn't use shopback… ;-)

  • Prices have been fixed. Heater showing as $1579 for me. Good luck to anyone who ordered.

  • There has been an error processing your request
    SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections

"Strewth, it appears that something has gone with the page you tried to view."

  • Since when is a 'Price Error' Expired?

  • At least they handle it much better than Qantas, react quick without letting the situation getting worse.

    • +9

      Cause someone dobbed it in

  • +1

Ordered the air purifier and was confirmed at $66. Wait and see I guess..

    • That one looks legitimate to me.

  • +2

Price error, these comments will be a great read haha

  • +1

    Got my order cancelled.

    Party is over people.

  • +1

    Order Cancelled.

    • +1

…did you really expect it to be fulfilled?

      • +3

Nope, but there's always a small chance they could honour it.

And the worst that could happen is a refund, so why not try?

      • Where's the fun in not taking a chance? :)

  • Refunded

  • My order has been cancelled…was nice dreaming for a bit there

  • Ordered purifier and yet to receive a cancellation email, they may not cancel this anymore.

  • -1

    Cancelled/Refunded (fridge)

Everyone who has ordered this price error off a small family owned business should be ashamed of themselves, trying to rip people off basically.

A small online store like this would not have the manpower or computer systems in place to deal with people like you.

And No, i am not affiliated in any way (ive actually never even heard of BillyGuyatts before).

Stick to trying to rip off the big multi national billion $ corporations.. Amazon, HP etc

    • +4

      I disagree @Fincky.

Where do we draw the line between "small family owned business" and the big boys?
How much research should I have put into House / Robins Kitchen recently regarding their set-up, history and shareholders before trying to buy a set of cutlery that to all intents and purposes looked to the average shopper like separate companies quickly price matching each other on various platforms.

I too had never heard of Billy Guyatts before today.

Someone had to input those prices.
In a small family business the order would have to pass by several sets of eyes too. I fully accepted that.
Small family businesses don't have automated robots packing and shipping orders without checks being done.

    • -1

If you've never heard of them before, how do you know they are a "small family owned business"?

      • -1

        @b-radicool Because i spent 30 seconds reading this: https://www.billyguyatts.com.au/about-us/

        @ Emeister

Where do we draw the line between "small family owned business" and the big boys?

You just drew the line. its between small family owned and multi national.

If this was forced to be honored by poor terms and conditions you could put them and all their staff out of a job just like that.

At amazon or Microsoft, someone might get a yelling at by the boss but that would likely be the end of it.
