Be careful. That tag also has your FlyBuys details on it.
If you throw away the tag (and you're also a FlyBuys member), you will need to find a different way to have your points recorded. Stocard?
For now, I have kept the stupid tag, just for the convenience of the FlyBuys part of it, but I have turned off the PayTag within the Coles App.

Xxx, we've got some good news – you can now add your Coles Credit Card to Apple Pay or Samsung Pay.
This means you can now add your card straight into your compatible iPhone1 or Samsung2 smartphone quickly and easily pay at contactless terminals3. For purchases of $100 or more, your ATM PIN may be required.
Can't you simply do this with any card with google pay?

And Coles mastercard is still not supported in Google pay in Aug 2020. Just tested and can confirm this is still the case. Pretty sure it's citibank (the card issuers) that are the problem here, rather than Coles. I have a citibank plus debit card, and it's the exactly same, Apple pay and Samsung pay, but no Google pay. There must be some utterly clueless citibank exec who thinks Android is Samsung, so the idea that there are many Android devices that aren't Samsung and which therefore cannot use Samsung Pay must be confusing to them. For any citibank execs, it's simple : support Apple pay and Google pay as the first tier, which gets you support for all iPhones and all Androids; then for the second tier you can optionally support Samsung pay, if you wish, only for people with Samsung devices who prefer to use Samsung's app instead.
April '22 and still not in Google Pay.
I assume there was a payment involved from Samsung.@bmerigan: With NAB now buying Citi's Australian arm (including Coles Mastercard), maybe there will be some movement here.
Another 6 months later and still no Google Wallet support.
Finally, it now has google wallet support. Cheers to people with patience who had been waiting and hanged on
