NBN Box Cable Tampered?

Hi all,

Been having frustrations connecting to my nbn and only noticed this… is this normal?

First pic shows an example of the cabling work by Nbnbox

keep note; i took out the nbn box to suss it out. the place i am renting shows this set up

please no smart ass answers, i am genuinely asking

  looks tampered with. where's the green connector that the connects the fibre to the ntd?

    it's been stripped off the white cable as shown in the second photo supplied. i had no idea what it was until i saw a demonstrated photo of what it's meant to look like

      you probably have to get it fixed by an NBN technician.

  Not to mention looks like the NTD and power supply is missing…

  OP: Contact your rental agent and ask them to ask landlord what is going on, too - your landlord should cover the costs of repair/replacing the NTD and then take it from the previous tenant's bond or similar

  What is the grey cable wrapped neatly on the left? Or is that all the same long stretch of optic cable? Where was the AC power transformer and cable before you took them out?

    It’s all the same that’s connected to the grey cable but the green plug as been stripped or cut off. Dunno why the hell someone do that

  How can you fix something if you don’t know what is missing?

  Call your RSP and leave the fixing to the professionals.

    I am going to take she attempted to fix it by doing the standard IT solution.

    1. Switch off
    2. Unplug and replug in the power cable.
    3. Wait 30 secs and switch on
    4. Oh that didn’t work. We will log a call with Singapore.

    It’s an attempt? Upon trying to fix it I noticed the cabling was stripped and things were missing
