Not sure if this is targeted, so please try and let me know. I received an email saying that if I use the code AUS10 I'll get 10% off the next 10 rides I have with Ola up until 15th September 2019 in the Ola App.

  Seems like a feeding frenzy in the ride share apps currently!!!!!
  Have had offers from Uber, Lyft & Ola this month already, can they see when you use other apps?

    Not sure, but I'm sure they can see how frequently you used to use the app compared to how much you're using it now. Don't think they would have the ability to see what other apps youre using, if any. Would be an invasian of privacy (but like they care right?).

      I just remember a YouTube (Hollywood) based driver who would use two different phone on contract etc for two different apps to look for ‘pickup holes’ I always wondered instead of two phones why not hotspot lots of old devices, also could trigger a one man surge!

  I got 20% off (AUS20) but it's capped at $8.

  Both still vastly inferior to the 50% off (capped at $10) you get at signup.

  All these cheap deals but the service itself has been shocking in my experience. I've attempted to use them 3 times on 3 separate occasions. Two of the times the driver never received my pick up location even though it was confirmed and charged on my phone. The driver that did actually answer the order said it was an ongoing issue with their app saying sometimes the order will never get sent through to their phones so they don't even know they have an order. Soo so far 33% success rate and probably 45mins of time wasted just waiting around.

    An $80 ride would have an $8 discount using the 10% off code - excluding tolls / third party charges. A $90 ride would still have an $8 discount as it is max $8 off. Hope that makes a bit more sense.

    Either way, other people are getting 20-30% off their rides! I've had my account since they launched in Sydney, well before they had max limits. When they first launched, they had 3 free rides and never stated a max discount so I used they only discounted $20 off the rides. I contacted them, reminding them that they had never mentioned a max discount on 'free rides', and ended up getting all three rides absolutely free. Probably why I'm only getting 10% off now hahaha
