  At 4.8 kgs, you are only left with 2.2kgs of gear to pack. I dont see the value in heavy carry on luggages

      my bad then. I read "airline limit" as for carry on. I suppose, if thats not the case, then my comment above does not hold true.

  i bought this luggage a year ago to transport a commercial projector from one country to another as checked in luggage on the plane
  shape and depth were perfect and wheels roll smoothly.
