  • Disregard the part about international transaction fees for Expedia.

As I've mentioned in the past i work for them and our competitive advantage is the fact we will bill customers in AUD. If this does not occur and you do receive an international transaction fee simply call customer care and they will immediately refund your international transaction fee.

But all in all despite a few sales most sites will be similar in price unless it's an exclusive special and some sites may not have particular properties.

Did you have any dates.. preferred location and budget and I can see what i can find for you?

  • I love using Travel Auctions but be sure to read the fine print for each individual deal.

    • Any sites you could recommend mar s?

I have used them for years and have never had any problems… they even offer travel insurance.

I usually half the value and add $10 or $20 dollars when making a bid.

Lately though I have noticed more deals say that they cannot be used in school holidays… I'm a teacher so a bit annoying.

Hope you find a good deal.

  • Are you looking for accommodation in Melbourne or in any other victorian destination??? I dont think I am being an ozbargainer here but I know this budget hotel called Space Hotel in Melbourne cbd, good location and very good prices.
