    10 bars of goat soap

    You don't shower/ bathe?

    • Liquid soap, easier and faster to use when in a rush (most days for me)

      • There are recipes on how to turn bar soap into liquid soap.

I went for the stupid eBay hourly eBay sale and bought the Sodastream for $20 mainly because of FOMO but it came without the extra flavours that are usually part of the bundle.

So I went to Coles to look for flavours but they only sell two - Cola and Creaming Soda for $5.99 each. I tried the Creaming Soda and it is horrible! I tried drinking the Sodastream without an added flavour and it's just as bad, not to mentioned the hassle of cleaning every bottle and re-gassing. Total disappointment as a product and I would say it is not worth the $20.

It all ends well since eBay had a 30 day satisfaction guarantee so I sent it back. To my surprise eBay refunded me the original price of $89 and I don't think they can claim back the one-off voucher for that 1 hour sale. I was feeling stupid for jumping on this deal that didn't need but I ended up $70 up due to the experience. This would have to be a first for OzBargain surely?

You can use anything to flavour the water. I simply keep the soda water in the bottle and flavour the water in a cup. That way you don't have to clean the bottles when refilling and you have a much wider and cheaper range of flavours. Most basic is a squeeze of lemon. New favourites include fruit vinegar.

I bought one of those nespresso coffee machines yesterday for $299 coz i forgot to put in the promo code…so yeah…

    • ouch. did you try contact ebay?

      • yeah. theres a 'cancel order' option. Funny thing is Bing lee sent an invoice to me for $89 and paypal charged me the full $299..Who knows.

        • That's happened to me as well and freaked me out. If you look at the Paypal transaction it breaks it down properly I think.

Get a gmail account and schedule send an email to your main email account with reminder emails a week before the renewal date, with a subject title like cancel amazon, ebay, viagra subscriptions etc.

Just remember to test email first, cause you dont want reminder going into junk.
