DFO Industrie, i bought an industrie jacket down from 149 to 99 and they threw in a free pair of latest style jeans

No DFO in SA as far as Im aware. Though there is Harbourtown, worth checking out the stores there. Since its already mid year, I assume many stores will be having more winter clearance sales.
eBay is also having a 'Winter fashion sale', apparently all under $20 with free postage.

Well you can try factory outlets - look for outdoorsy stores like Kathmandu, Mountain Designs etc. They would definitely have warm, durable jackets.
Go to Aldi today! $49 for a jacket that you would pay around $199 for at Kathmandu (when it's onsale, otherwise its almost $400 at Kathmandu)

I am in SA and ended up buying a fantastic Hawk and Barrow down jacket (ladies) from Amazon.com for $91.60 including shipping. RRP $299. Now I'm not sure what happened, but this is how it played out. I found the coat on ebay for $85 plus $35 shipping, checked Amazon for price and reviews and the price there was $185.50 plus shipping. However, I signed up for Amazon clothing emails while I was there and they sent me a 20% off voucher. When I received the voucher, I went back to look at all their down coats and jackets and saw they had reduced the Hawk and Barrow coat overnight to $99.63 plus $13.98 shipping so I bought it using the voucher. I don't remember if I had put it on my wishlist or not, but I don't think I did. It took 2 weeks to arrive. Checking today, I see that the price is back up to $185.50. Not everything on Amazon is available for shipping to Australia. Only clothing items sold directly by Amazon.com qulify for the 20% off voucher.
