Advice on a Bluetooth Receiver

Hi there,

I am a drummer and I use a device to collect sounds from other instruments in the band (piano, guitar) including my own drum sound. That device has a 3.5mm Stereo Plug which I can plug my wired headphone into, but the wire was annoying when I was playing the drum. I have bluetooth wireless headphoens that I can use but that device can't be connected to my headphones via bluetooth.

I have been looking for a Bluetooth Receiver. The ones I found only allowed me to connect from a phone to the output device with a 3.5mm Stereo Plug (Car, Speaker…). It needs to be setup from the phone which can't be done with the headphone. Any advice on what should I be getting to link my wireless headphone to that device for drummer?

TLDR: Any advice on a Bluetooth Music Receiver that allows me to pair my headphone into an output device with 3.5mm Stereo Plug?

    • How much was it? Did you notice any delay? Interested to give it a try.

      • It was $20. I use it while watching TV mostly, don't find a delay (unless there is a very minor one which I don't notice)

I very much doubt any third-party add-on will be able to transmit the sound with zero lag - even some natively Bluetooth capable devices have audio lag, and I'm going to guess that any amount of lag is going to be bad for your purposes.

Yeah aptX at a minimum, but the headphones need to support it as well

I wonder if an actual music store would know more, as in 1 for instruments, DJs etc. Have something more high-end than a cheap Amazon/Aliexpress thing. Also allow you to test it

  • Thanks guys
