    FYI no power supply included.

thats no different to buying any other 5m led strip

      • +3

All the LED rope lights or strips I own (approx 4 or 5) came with power supplies. Although I haven't bought any in the last couple of years.

Not saying it is a good or bad thing, just pointing it out for people as I think it is important to know (which seems to be supported by the comments below).

        • -2

That's because you bought them as an ebay package and paid extra for it.

          • +2

@asa79: No, I didn't buy them from eBay or pay extra for a power supply, it was included as part of the pack. There was no option to buy just the light.

Again, I was just noting it for people because it is not immediately obvious and appears to be a deal-breaker for some.

  • WHY No Power Supply Included?

    • -1

Why pay extra for a power supply when not everyone needs one. If you doing a 50m run, you only need 1 power supply not 10 of them

    • If you using in your car, you dont need a wall socket power supply, as it can run off your battery

    • 1 power supply?

Why did you neg for that? Most 5m led strip rolls dont come with power supplies, or you pay more to include.

  • @luminosum coupon code does not work my dude

You only just listed this today!

  • If your store included an option to pay extra for a power supply i would jump on this as i am looking at putting these in my wardrobe with a motion sensor.

  • Me too, interested if power supply provided.

    Hello, everyone.
Thanks for your support and advice. I want to explain why it is no power supply provided.
First, it is not a good way for us to ship the item to Australia with the power supply and the package need to be changed with it.
Second, We think not everybody needs this one, they may already have a 12V power supply, because most of the old led strip lights provide the power supply. Our led strip lights also have the power supply.(They are different from this neon light, but the power supplies are applicable).
And those neon lights are better than the old strip lights with high quality silicon, they are flame retardant, smellless and flexible, so the price also higher than the old strip, our customer will pay more with the power supply.
Therefore, we don't provide the power supply, so sorry for the trouble.

There is this as a $29.99 local alternative
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/lytworx-white-neon-flex-led-ligh…

But if this deal is really silicon, as opposed to PVC in the Bunnings version, maybe it's better. And maybe it's a better LED???

I have a few 12VDC power supplies lying around but at 5amps for 5 meteres, none of them would come close to running this, so you are up for another $50+ for a power supply (See Jaycar). You could use an old PC power supply if the location suited.

Do people here really think you should get a power supply for free or something?
