Just to share my experience of using the card in NZ.
Used the transferwise card to pay in NZ, petrol, food, supermarket…
Loading AUD only, don't bother to get exchange NZD into the NZ account.
Sorry I don't know how to use table for easy to read.
These transactions are copied from my Transferwise app.
16/9 Petrol NZD$108.81; Rate: 1.0765; Fee: AUD$0.51; AUD$101.59
17/9 Lunch NZD$77; Rate: 1.0821; Fee: AUD$0.36; AUD$71.58
17/9 Supermarket NZD$36.63; Rate: 1.080; Fee: AUD$0.17; AUD$34.09
Once you tap to pay, the app basically shows the AUD amount straight away.
I used Amex to pay at the beginning, tried to compare the rate. For small amount, seems transferwise does a good job in NZ.
