Toshiba Qosmio X505 - $1400

I'm looking to buy a decent laptop to do some CAD modeling work on the go. Budget about 3K. At the moment, I'm hooked onto this @ $1400

The cons: it's a discontinue model. It's a refurbished unit.

The pros: it's speced really decent. It's sold by a retail store. You can buy 3year waranty for it with extra 80bux.

Any objection? or any better alternative?

  but this one is 18.4 inch screen, it's pretty appealing. That's why I've overlooked the 1st gen i7, the could-have-been-better graphic card, and no USB 3.
  
  Is extra 3" worth the sacrifice? I mean in term of the screen size of course :)

    No local warranty
    
    It is a dog of a model, hence why there are so many refurbs around.
    
    It is only a good buy if you don't mind it being disposable.
