Looking at Options for Vehicle GPS Tracking

Hey all, I have been looking into getting a GPS tracker for my vehicles I have & there are so many options to choose from.

What does everyone use for GPS tracking, any suggestions and feedback will be appreciated!

Thank you!

Why are you having problems choosing one?

    • Reliability and service that backs them up.

Wanting to see what others had experience that's all.

    I used a Black Knight (https://www.blackknighttracking.com/)

I got it for free through some deal they had going in Victoria a couple of years ago.

A dealer installed it for me and I got a year of free tracking, then I had to pay and I didn't bother, so it was deactivated.

But it worked perfectly every time I viewed it.

    • What was the amount they offered you to "pay" for 1 year of tracking?

      • I think it was $20 a month or something around there.

I went with your recommendation, I'm shipping my car to WA this week and I wanted to track it. Looks the goods this company. Cheers!

    You can read about it

You haven't given us much to go on. What's your budget? What do you want to track? How often do you need it to update? How much coverage does it need? Does it need to be fixed to power or battery powered? You want a monthly subscription or yearly? Do you need something small and discreet or you need something industrial strength?

I bought this one and it works well for me. Only $130 and it is easy to setup with no hardwiring required. You just have to buy a sim card.

Need to know more ‘why?’ For business, in case of theft, spying on loved ones, and racking service intervals, weird obsession with meaningless data?

Need to know what budget and if it is for a fleet or just a couple of cars.

(I really dislike these open questions, and then people recommending what they have based on no evidence that it will suit the OP)

    As OP says:

    Mostly what Ozbargain is about?
