How to Watch Sports in Australia

Hi,
I am after watching Premier League, NBA and Uefa Champions League mostly. and maybe some tennis and formula 1 too.
I have:

  • A Smart TV
  • NBN Internet.

Should I subscribe to kayo sports? Would you recommend it?
Or should i get an Android Tv Box and find an IPTV? How does this solution work? What are the costs? is it reliable?

thanks in advance.

I'll bring the mates, you bring the beer.

    • Don't forget snacks (chips, peanuts, ribs, wings, pies, sausage rolls etc)

For NBA, if some Regular Season games and some playoff games, plus all the Conference Finals and Finals is enough, KAYO plus Optus Sports is what you need.

If not, will need NBA League Pass as well.

paying for Kayo sports is worth the convenience of just being able to login and watch high quality streams, you could even split the subscription with a friend.
For premier league you can always look at changing your mobile carrier to Optus because they offer free Optus Sport for their sim only plans.

if you really want to skimp, just jump on reddit and view all the different pirate streams.. but its a pain in the butt because they go up/down

    • I tried this but ads, pop ups and inconsistency are not bearable. I would rather pay some for a peace of mind.

There was one I used to use all the time, but about 2 years ago, I found I'd be watching it , and after 10 mins I would lose internet connectivity on that PC. I'd end up reformatting it , to get it back up and running. I tried the same site on a raspberry pie, and the game wouldn't load.

I remember watching the big bash on these streams.

I think the ball was one of the pixels I could see. Not worth.

Optus sport $15 a month for all the premier league games, champions league, Europa league and all internationals like qualifiers and big tournaments . I'm with optus so it's included with my $36 a month 30gb plan

You could do an account share with someone in Kayo, Optus Sports… But of course, that is against the t&c's

Kayo was good during Rugby League season, but sometimes would lock up, and I'd restart my phone/ipad.
