Nose
Lifted fruit, mint and spice aromas with hints of chocolate and leather denoting its age.

Palate
Full, ripe fruit palate, reminiscent of rich Christmas cake. Soft tannins, tight palate, well balanced, good for drinking now.

Acidity: 6.1

Peak Drinking

Food Matches

Check out the 2005, 2006 VP cleanskins, and the grand muscat for $15 a bottle while you are at it.

This has been around for quite a while now

Great VP (ordered a dozen last year). Drinks well except the wine is still young (even though it is 13 years old!!) so you need to decant it or leave it in the glass for it to be really nice

98 was a great vintage and the wine shows it
