Home Automation for Remote Control Ceiling Fans

I was just hoping for some advice if anyone can help!

I have remote control ceiling fans in house that would like to control via smart home, particular timer (turn off after x hours for example). The remotes they have are just the standard Brilliant remotes from Bunnings.

Ideally works with Google Home and/or Home app.

I can’t seem to find out how to do this! Any advice appreciated!

You could try Broadlink or Xiaomi IR blasters

    • This is what I use with Google home, work perfectly.

    • Does the Xiaomi work on Google home?

    Or supply througha smart plug

  • Those Xiaomi smart home things are good, otherwise if you want to be fancier, maybe a raspberry pi?

  • Thanks everyone, ended up going with Broadlink Pro for the Google Home integration.

The setup took a while but after a lot of Youtube videos and resets ended up getting it to work. Tip: IHC app not eControl.
