  • You can also add me to the list of those who didn't receive a welcome pack but am getting lots of spam emails.

  • Another not received after email here.

    • Update:Sent an email & this is what I received as a reply

Unfortunately due to our free welcome pack being posted on the OzBargains website, we've had a much larger number of new sign-ups than we ever imagined and we have run out of welcome packs.
Our next distribution of mechanise should arrive between November – December. We will then have your welcome pack, packed and shipping out to you shortly after this time :)

  • yeah, no cup as of now, just spam mails :(

    • Yes, received the other day. I sent a few emails enquiring about it but got no response, then it turned up a few days later. The bamboo coffee cup is nice.

    • Yes, I've also received it. Didn't need to contact them.

      • Me too. I got mine just before xmas… silicone lid… yuck!

I'll stick with my stainless steel thermos.

    • nope

    • i got it on xmas eve….thought it was quite the xmas miracle lol.

not impressed with the cup at all. it's not insulated, so when i took it to 7 eleven to get a coffee, i had to get a huge wad of paper towels so i could carry it. the silicone lid was meh but at least it didn't leak on the drive home.

i think i liked the metal straw brush a lot better ;)

Yeah, the cup itself doesn't feel durable. I feel like I'm going to crush it if I grip it any harder. Didn't think about the insulation part… definitely sticking with my Zarraffas thermos (which gets me a free upsize anyway saving me 50c each drink).

As for the metal straw… good to use at home. Don't drink from it when driving. In the off chance that the airbag goes off, you don't want a long metal rod being propelled in the direction of your brain. A colleague in the office went through this and is very lucky to be alive still.

        • i think it's fine just as a tumbler or for iced coffees; that silicone band that comes with it is useless.

i don't use straws at all so i'm probably going to find a non drinking related purpose for it lol

            like what? *intrigued

I like the cup. Fun printed design and seems well made. Had no issue drinking a long black from it. The silicon lid is not the best but it didn't spill and you can use without it also.

  • I finally got mine and am happy with it but will probably use the steel straw for another purpose. Maybe with a plant or something.

    • like to water the roots?

      • +1

Yup. Used it for that & works really well for a small plant. :)
