About Kogan's iPhone 11, Anyone Knowing When It Would Come out for Sale?

I'm not sure about how long it will take for Kogan to have them in stock
Since Kogan has no customer service hotline I have to ask someone here who previous bought iPhone xs or xr on Kogan when they were released

How long does Kogan ususally take for them to start to sell new iPhone that's just released a week ago?

What will the price be? Will it be significant cheaper? The same version is $2149 in Apple AU.
I need to buy some gift card if I don't have to wait for too long…

Basically just when and how many cheaper
Thank you guys

that's fine but ..I need to know when they will release those.

  • Just get one from apple or JB Hifi
Apple Warranty on iPhones is NOT international and given Kogan models are most likely going to be Grey Imported you are going to be SOL if you need warranty.

Get JB Hifi gift cards at a discount (i am sure you can find all the posts that explain how)
and buy an Aus Model from them

    • Grey Imported you are going to be SOL if you need warranty

That’s not true, my wife bought her iPhone from Kogan, she said it was cheaper, when it started to play up, we took it to highpoint apple store and they gave her a replacement during her 2 year period, under warranty apparently.

      • Kogan does sell Local stock as well, but majority is Grey Imported.
Apple Australia does not have to warrant imported phones, they might as its at their discretion and my partner has exact opp exp than you with a grey imported phone, lucky we were going Singapore 2 weeks later and were able to get it resolved locally there.

My wife’s phone came with a HK charger, and a Kogan au charger thrown in, so definitely a grey import.

Apple is very good at looking after anyone with apple phoones. So if op is getting an apple phone I wouldn’t worry just coz it’s grey import.

Is your wife’s phone an apple?

          • @cloudy: yeah was an iPhone X

@jimbobaus: Try going to high point apple store, they’ve been really good to deal with, for my wife’s phone and my iPad which was out of warranty ( apparently warranty is 1 year according to my Harvey normal receipt), but I got a replacement and told my replacement has a new 2 year warranty attached.

I remember at the time, they acknowledged the Iphone was bought from Hk, which meant I had to come back the follow week for them to get a like for like replacement.

  • Kogan iPhone imports are most likely Japanese where you cannot switch off shutter sound when taking photos, unless JB or use 3rd party photo app

    • it's HK version

      • I don’t know the timing of release of iPhones, but if history is any guide Kogan generally sells them for 10-15% cheaper straight off the bat.

Possible to mix in Kogan gift cards which can be bought at a discount occasionally, I stocked up a few hundred bucks worth during the last sale on the woolies catalogue for my next phone.

  • imports come under apple 1 year warranty only, had a 6s from hawaii replaced 6 months old.

    • from hawaii??

      • yep, was bought there new, replaced here by apple, screen died.

        • you bought iphone from Kogan (hawaii) right?

          • @Kawaii: no, but same 1 year warrant as its os model

  • They listed about 10am
