You’re giving people seedling kits for Christmas?

    • +4

      Some people deserve coal.

      • +1

Technically seedlings are just very very preliminary coal…

        • +1

          Preprepreliminary.

          Preliminary would be buried tree.

          Prepre would be tree.

          Preprepre is seed.

So you're technically correct. The best kind of correct.

      • When coal is too good for some

Alternative: I'm going to hell for that one.

  • Wonder if it worked for Ooshies…

  • +4

Nice move , saving the environment I guess planting more seeds lol :)

Are you doing Online shopping on Woolworth site or in store (self checkout)?

    • +3

Most likely online since in-store requires authorisation from staff to remove items.

    • +1

      Online

  • What high value items are you adding and removing?

    • Anything should work. I added 10 pantyhose and some vitamins this time. And originally psyllium husks and some meat or something I was thinking of buying.

Bad karma for being an a**hole.

    • +4

Some people don't collect it because they do not want to plant anything plus Woolies does not give a f*** about this, they might throw it in a bin at the end of their promotion period. it's good someone collect extra and plant it.

      • +1

They continue on the last days of the promotion until they run out.

    • And you for calling me one.
      I like this game. Cheers.

This is one hijinks that I actually think isn't that repulsive.

The cost to woolies is minimal and it is probably good for the environment that some people want to put some plants in the ground.

    I'm emotionally confused.

    • But is op doing it just for the freebies, or does he actually intend to plant them?

      • +5

I want to believe OP wants to plant them or give them to someone who can learn to be/is a planter.

      • +2

I have about 20 small pots and some rich soil/compost I've collected over the last fortnight. I haven't done this since I was 11 yo, so looking forward to it. Genuinely.

        • +2

Sorry mate, I didn't mean it personally.

  • -1

Not nice OP teaching like a hack . Just checked Ebay going for $1.50-$2 each in lots of 10's . OP might help the Pensioners Club :)

  • Just takes you stuffing up removing something once from your cart and missing it and woolies is laughing all the way to the bank

  • +1

    thanks OP, you're a genius!

  • I missed it … would like to hear what your suggestion/plan was

    • +3

If you add unwanted items to your cart, then remove them within the checkout stage, you keep the extra seedling kits for the higher value.

Or, you know, click Revisions at the top.
      Not much action since 2008.

  • Anyone check the invoice? Comes up as the correct amount (4) not the 32 it should show(that I plan on giving to my sister's school) Will be curious to see how many arrive tomorrow.

    • My invoice shows the higher amount (in ordered and supplied columns), that was displayed at checkout and actually arrived.

So please let us know. They may have updated their system.

      • +1

        Received just 4 :(

  • Should be marked as "HACK"

  • Guys, ordered $300 worth with home delivery, invoice said 10 seedling kits, but I received none.
Tried two woolies, the first were out, the second 'Dog Swamp' said yes as soon as they saw the invoice, and provided all ten kits. So have a go if you missed out.
