Buying T-Shirts online

Hey All,

just looking for some suggestions about buying t-shirts online.

Ive been looking at buying a heap from redbubble but I am worried that the shirts wont be the right size. Ill probably end up buying one and seeing if the fit is nice, but thats a $30 excercise I am a bit worried about, especially if I get it wrong.

does anyone know if theres a clothing store out there that is similar in their sizings to redbubble?

also looking for some other links.. Ive got thinkgeek and threadless, so anything else with a nerd/geek vibe would would be greatly appreciated.

  • Whole thread here
But most of them don't have the geek vibe, they are mainly formal/casual wear

    • Had a read through and there are people suggesting Ed Harry, Rivers, Jay Jays, or alternatively suggestion ultra expensive. more just looking for some unique quirky designs, possibly with a bit of geek rolled in on the side.

  • www.threadless.com is all I use for my T-shirt needs

  • cafepress.com (also cafepress.com.au it seems) - lots of topical designs
thinkgeek.com - geek wear and toys

oops sorry I miss read your original post, no I've never shopped redbubble to know their sizes - but the above places are fun anyway

  • redbubble uses American Apparel t-shirts to print on, so my suggestion is to pop by an American Apparel store and try on a few shirts.

Looking at your location, the closest (any only) one would be the American Apparel store on Chapel St

  • $6tshirts.com has 10 t-shirts for $50. use one of those US frieght forwarding companies for postage as $6tshirts charge like $50-$60 for postage.

  • Here are some 1-day deal type sites for shirts, i have bought heaps over the past year or so. they have some really good designs, very geeky too.

    http://shirt.woot.com/
    http://riptapparel.com/

Only problem is there seems to be high variance in sizes, i order the same size all the time and some are bigger/smaller than others.
