  • Not a freebie..

    • Hi G77, if your rental is just for an hour or two and under $25, you wouldn't need to pay.

  • Anyone has used it or rent their car this way? Would like to know more about your experience please. Thanks

    • I have, the service definitely works fine and its easy enough. Probably not great for larger distances as you pay per km but fuel is included so you can mash the pedal down.

      • Do you need to pay insurance just in case there is accident?

    • I listed my car for rent. Average $400 net monthly income in summer, lower in winter. Really depends on your location and your nearby competitors

      • Do you need special insurance for that? How do we ensure that we are covered for dents, scratches, car not being returned etc? It would be a big risk giving our car to a stranger right?

        • They've just introduced multiple 'plans' that you'll need to choose. The most expensive one includes insurance.

Not sure why a credit check is required when signing up, when you're already providing your credit card details

    • Hey there Sayako, the credit check is a security protocol to further ensure that borrowers are who they say they are as you could use any credit card on the platform. As you can imagine with members of the public renting out their vehicles, security is very important.

  • Well that's about 24 hours too late, darn.

Is this code for new users only or for existing users as well?

    • I can't find a way to enter code when booking a vehicle, so I assume this is only for new users

    • Hey there yes this offer is just for new users, I've updated the deal info. Apologies for the confusion. Thanks, Keal.

Is it possible to use the WEEKEND17 code and sign up with a referral link?

    • Hi emjaygodd, you can only use one promo code on signup.

      • there was no option to add a promo code during my signup process near the end, the final confirmation button just said 'save and continue' like all the other progress buttons and didn't actually indicate it would finalize the signup process and create my account when i clicked, so my account got created and i didn't get to use this code.
