Maccas Monopoly Free admission offer Terms and Conditions

Hi everyone,

We are going to the Melbourne Aquarium and have won 3 free admission offer tickets that we wanted to use but when I check the T & C's on the Melbourne Aquarium website it clearly states that they only accept one free ticket per group.

Has anyone successfully used more than one at a time for entry or should our family of 4 just enter separately with the codes on our phones?

Thanks!

The next line of the T&Cs says "Multiple members of a group may not use their free admission evouchers at the same time"

That's pretty clear. If there are 4 of you, you'll need to arrive separately.

PS. what a stupid term that is.

    • I think arriving separately (in a literal sense) would be lost on the purpose.

“per group” so it may work if you just pretend you are individual groups.

      “at the same time”
So it’s ok if each individual person holds a ticket, and you submit them one after the other. Or it may be the case that it all counts as one transaction. So “per group” method would be better.

Or maybe you have to enter one after another, as in wait for the first person to get round the Aquarium, and then only once they exit can the next person enter with their voucher, and so on and so forth.

Print out the voucher and handle them one by one. Usually if the staff doesn't care that much, he/she will let you used them.

We had the same thing with sea life aquarium last year. Two tickets so hubby went in while I waited outside with our child. A few minutes later I went in with my child.

  • Awesome thank you all for the response!

I used this at Wildlife Sydney Zoo. We just walked in together. They scanned our barcode on our phone and didn't say anything.

  • This "per group" thing is weird. Can't you just pretend you aren't a group? I think if you just showed up, the staff would not care

    • We got in and just went to seperate lines. Hubby went in with my 3 yr old (who we had to pay for), my 15 yr old daughter and then myself- ur right though they didn't seem too strict but you just never know these days and at $42 per adult for a ticket, we didn't really want to risk it.
