Hi,

Is there any difference between Seagate Backup Plus Slim Vs Backup Plus Portable HDD ?
I contacted the ebay seller, they replied as they are all slim. But I doubt that..

Are these ebay and JbHiFi products same ?

If there are any other recommendations, please comment.

  They are the exact same model type (Model No. STDR20003xx - the last two digits seem to just indicate different colours) despite the slightly different names. I've seen a lot of sales lately for the backup plus slim/portable HDD models pictured on those two pages (starting with STDR model numbers). Probably because are about to be replaced by a slightly updated series (starting with STHN numbers) see:

    Is it better to spend extra few bucks and buy the new model ?
    68$ after discount for the STDR20003xx

  1 & 2 TB are 'slim' 4 & 5 TB are not 'slim'. Sometimes sellers mix the inventory so leave the 'slim' off the name. So the seller is right, all the 2TB ones are slim.
