Scarface is one of the most quoted movies of all time. Every thirty-seven seconds, 24 hours a day, someone somewhere around the world does a bad Tony Montana impression. The movie’s dialogue litters the lyrics of gangsta rap. Lines like “Don’t get high on your own supply” and “Every day above ground is a good day” have bled into the lexicon and become proverbial. It’s hard to think of another film that was dismissed by the majority of critics and moviegoers when first released but still has had the same cultural impact as Scarface.

First you get the money, then you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the book.

    • Tony wud stick with the .. Chica

  • The lunch scene with Sorsa is one of my favorite parts of the movie.

  • Most overrated movie.

And in the words of the real life hit men of Miami “We would’ve got Tony…”

    Amazing doco.

  • Thanks OP.
Recall seeing this movie when it came out at the Valhalla in Richmond (Vic).
And I was impressed with it.

  • Darn, too late for the cookbook.

I've never tried vegan. Those little twigs are just so quick, I've never been able to catch one.

If I'm lucky enough to get my hands on one, once the anemia kicks in, is it still ok to use them to make stew?
