Doesn't seem like a bad price… Not sure it is as good as Samsung Series 7 but it is a lot cheaper…

  • Correction:
    LED-LCD

  • Strange. When looking up this set, search results show 3D capability.

    • ShoppingSquare is dodgy usually

    • No, this is not 3D.

When buying my 3D 47" LG tv at Binglee, the rep told me this model has just arrived it today he can give a very good deal in this
He searched it online for details ( in store itself) it showed 3D capability. I was surprised, 47" 3D, i was interested in was for 1800 and this model 55" 3D for 1900.
But I told him to see it in the box, as price was too good to be true. he verified, it was not 3D. the LG site we were referring was Asian version, where they might be.

Edit: If u are interested in this TV. better off buy it from store with better prices than this.

  • How much is this elsewhere?

    • About $2150 before bargaining.
you could probably get it from a more reputable store matched.

      • Not a real bargain then, unless they drop it by another $500.

  • About $2299 in shops

very reflective screen - even more so than the Samsung

    Definately no 3D

  • Shoppingsquare is the cheapest I've seen. Including delivery is about $2080. The cheapest instore price I found was $2282 at Harvey Norman, but they wouldn't go cheaper. Can anyone refer me to a better deal?

    • +1

When I bought my 47" 3D LG Tv, the rep offered me 2000 for this TV at Binglee. I think you can get a good deal trust me. Its better to get a tv from retailer from store, so that at least u can return it in case of any problems within one month and save on courier to send it back.

      • Thanks, Gagans. Can you tell me which Bing Lee and when this happened? Also, what do you think about your TV? Happy with it? I've heard the screen can be reflective - do you find this is the case? And how is the sound?

Cheers for all your help, gagans. Much appreciated :)

  • Thanks gagans :) Hopefully a TV by this weekend!

    • u r welcome :)
Dont forget to additionally take the magic remote for free :) if you buy these tvs and u dont get it in box.

      • Do I have to ask the shop for the magic remote?

  • According to the HN sales rep, this panel is the top of the line 2010 panel and it is a very good TV…
