BCF Gift Cards - Website Not Allowing More than One Gift Card

I'm worried I may have tried too hard to snag a bargain and have stuffed up.

Looking to buy a Weber Baby Q + accessories. BCF have a 20% off sale on this weekend. Bought $350 worth of gift cards through my HCF membership rewards with 10% discount in lots of 1 x $200, 1 x $100 and 1 x $50

BCF website says up to 3 gift cards can be used, but after I apply the first card number, it says that the maximum number of cards has been reached.

Currently 6.30pm on a Sunday night so cant go in store or ring for support so am now left with $350 of BCF gift cards and no Weber!

value of items dont corespond to voucher denominations to split into seperate transactions.

Anyone else experienced this or have any tips.

May just have to wait until the next sale or a sale elsewhere and get BCF to pricematch and use vouchers instore.

  • Buy it with a credit card today and then go into bcf and do a return and repurchase with your gift cards

    • I'm assuming I wouldn't get the sale price though as the sale ends tonight? I'm thinking I could take a screenshot in store tomorrow and hope that they may honour the sale price.

Buy it today with a credit card and they will return it and you can repurchase it at today’s price. Have done this 2 times already and the staff are cool with it as they know that you can’t use more than one gift card on web purchases. In store you can use as many gift cards as you like.

Awesome, thanks so much for your help - that's exactly what I was hoping to hear!

          • @Genga: How did you go mate?

@OzzyboyBargainHunter: By the time I went back to buy with cc, it was out of stock at my local store! (I was going to do click and collect).

I ended up ringing customer service this morning who advised to send through the vouchers so they can merge them into one, and a screenshot of my cart at the time, so they can honour the sale price.

I've also asked for them to waive delivery fee, as the baby q now appears as out of stock at all stores on the site!

Will let you know how I go. Cheers

@OzzyboyBargainHunter: Just an update - They ended up merging the gift cards and sending me the updated gift voucher details. They also generated a coupon code for me which brought the items back down to the sale price, as well as including free delivery.

It took a couple of phone calls in the end, but we got there, plus I kind of came out on top now that I don't have to go to a store to collect!

If you hit a brick wall then ask to speak to a manager and if that guys made of stone also then call their HO perhaps. Sure you can get what you want :) Just might be a little more troubling/annoying. DOnt give up!

Yep annoying - when i bought my Q2000 from BCF i had discounted Entertainment Book gift cards but as i had read from a previous comment that the site only accepted a single gift card, i ended up going in store and using my gift cards to purchase a single $300 gift card (online only sale). Pretty stupid.

    • Very annoying considering it explicitly says on the payment page that up to vouchers can be used! Will try my luck instore today
