  • Would a US size 12 be the same as a AUS size 11.5?

    • generally 1 size less ie us 12 = aus 11

With my new balance bought in the US, I got a size 12 when I am normally a size 11

But is is a little more complicated as usual
      worth looking here for details

      • Thanks Ozpete.

    • Quote from a post I've previously made:

I was recently in the US and bought 6 pairs of shoes which were all half a size up from what I'd usually buy in Australia. I'm a men's 10 AU and found 10.5 US was the perfect fit for me.

That table that you linked to suggests there's a 1 unit difference in AU and US sizes, but I found 11 US to be too big and loose for my foot so I only went up by 0.5 units.

This table is more accurate to what I've experienced with shoes in the past: http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html#adult

      Hope I've helped someone. :)

So to answer your question simply, yes, a US size 12 would be the same as an AU size 11.5 from personal experience.

    • This is a handy conversion chart to use:

Anyone got their free shipping code yet? The shipping is quite low ($5 for my order) but why offer free shipping and then not follow through?

why offer free shipping and then not follow through?

The rep appears to be based in the US (according to their profile), where it's the middle of the night, so I'm guessing they've gone home and are fast asleep right now. You'll probably get the codes late tonight or early tomorrow. :)

First two shoes from mens running.
MT814BK sells for $99 on clearance from NB Aus, its full retail price on NB US is $89.99
MR760 is $120 from NB Aus, MR760 is $44.99 from NB US

I congratulate New Balance for clearly showing that it's gouging us Aussies. I could buy 2 pairs of the MR760 from the US site and the $30 left over would still cover shipping.

  • I emailed everyone who requested a free delivery promo code. Please email me (bulent(dot)guneyli(at)newbalance(dot)com if you have not received it. • Dear Rep,

Can you please advise why i cannot buy the MW927 in Australia?

    http://www.newbalance.com/products/MW927/

Is there any other New Balance walking shoe available in Aus which is suitable for flat feet?

    Thanks

    • It looks like 927 is not in the web site catalog so I am afraid it won't be available on shopnewbalance.com.au. However the stores carry different inventory and you need to check with them. Where do you live? Maybe be I can investigate to see if a nearby store carries the 927.
I talked to one of our customer care reps and here is the answer I got for your second question: "The 660 is a solid option for a person with lower arches, however we don’t have many sizes available.

The 927 offered the Rollbar Technology which will give the customer very nice stability and support. We don’t have any walking styles with this piece of tech on the AU site right now, but the 856 cross training shoe will be a nice second choice. If the customer is looking for a walking/everyday shoe, the 856 should work for him/her!"
