That RRP is kinda ridiculous. Satechi ones are that expensive, but there are many that look similar for around $60. Bit of a non-deal here.

With that USB C port, do you happen to know if it supports things like external monitors and hard drives? If so, with a monitor connected are you able to charge the laptop from the monitor's charging feature?
The USB C port doesn't support monitors. I tried a hdmi to thunderbolt 3 cable and it didn't work. I believe it's only pass through for power.
$20 hubs on Ebay are the same as this with only 30hz 4k.

These are rubbish. Got one a while back and it killed my WiFi on my Mac when I plugged it in, as soon as I pulled it out it worked again. Sent video proof to Kogan and they refunded me and told me to bin it.
Can any anyone suggest a good 4K 60hz?
