TWS Stereo BT 5.0 Earbuds /W Charging Box Reviews

Ok, so I purchased these. Things I believe are false:

1) I doubt it can do 25 charges.
2) I doubt it can hit 4 hours of use.

I charged the box at night to 100%, as well as the buds to 'full'.
When connected in the morning, the buds showed 90%. After charging them to 'full' again at work, the box showed 86% power left.

For me, I changed out the bud 'skin' to the smaller size and this was easy enough to do.
They fitted well enough and while walking to work and on the bus they never felt like falling out. They do block out a lot more ambient noise than my Samsung provided AKG wired earphones - but that could also be that these have their own power source.

I wouldn't use them for increasing/decreasing volume as that function says to press 3 times… which is absurd, surely?
Pausing was an easy touch of the right bud and it could also forward the track, with the left bud doing backward tracking.
When I put them in, there's a chirpy Asian lady's voice that reminds you which bud is which, and that they are paired.

I'm no expert on earbuds by any measure. But they're functional. As above, I wouldn't trust them for anything more than a 1-2 hour commute at best.

Update 1: Got up and walked away from my phone and my Gear S3 lost BT connection faster.
Buds showing 80% after about 40 minutes.

Updated 2: 70% at 1 hour. Had to eventually take them out… they're still playing on the desk next to me for a battery test. At the rate my Note8 drains battery with them over BT, it looks like without charging the phone might run out of juice first…

Update 3: Ok, I take back the not-lasting-4-hours. After nearly 3 hours, the buds are reporting 50% battery remaining (through BT interface). Going to stop them now and see how long it takes to charge them in the dock.

  • Seriously, these things are cheap already so stick with good names who already have solid reviews.
Like Xiaomi, qtc and few others can't remember the names. Something like that, I won't touch even for $19.

    • +1

I didn't buy them for long term use. I bought them to see what they're like, and if I can stand having earbuds in my ear for prolonged periods. Oh, and just writing this for those those that consider them in the future.
