        This.

        • For me as well, Lagavulin 16 over Oban.

          Or both :)

      • Lagavulin for sure if you like peaty Scotch. I've gone through about 4 bottles of Lagavulin while only drinking about a half a bottle of my Oban.

      • I actually preferred Oban 14 over Lagavulin 16

      • I haven't actually tried Oban so I went that. I've still got some lagavulin lying around that I haven't gotten to yet. I think I'm too well stocked sometimes.

  • Whats the historical low?

As are most whisky sold today. Most people don't realise that the only additive (apart from water) allowed to be added to whisky is caramel colour. So be it, its the taste that counts and this is lovely.

      • Sadly, E150 has a taste.

        • But apparently you can't actually taste it, even when its added to plain water so I would not worry :

Can you taste the caramel sweetness? This is up for debate but the folks at Master of Malt did a blind taste test with 10 of their staff. Only one could pick out the glass of water with the caramel color additive (and they expected 1.66, since there were 10 participants and one of the six glasses had the caramel). While hardly a definitive study, at the very least it’s not going to obviously affect whisky.

        • 12 is cask strength, and has a higher abv - 43% against 57.8% for the 12.

  • Thanks, picked up one (and many others)

  • Postage is free for orders over $150, i.e. pickup 2 bottles for $168 + free postage.
