Amazon will match this I reckon, wait for that.

It's already cheaper at Amazon per roll.

In addition to the other retailers mentioned previously.

Amazon 45 pack was like 32c, and they honored mine with multiple 9 packs.

I'd rather pay more and never go near an aldi.

Wish I could get into them like others have.

Just never seemed to like them..though they did have this fake milky way type chocolate in 2010 that was cool
I think cause they remind of a grocery store called "jewel" and they sold "black and white" in house labelled food. Just always felt like poor trash when I'd go there.
    Aldi gives me similar feelings

Also, aldi worked my friend so hard when he was working for their corporate team.

Give you car and free parking space in the city with gym, pool, spa and sauna but make you do 4 hours of paper work after a 10 hour day driving to various aldi stores.

Guess that's the reason they can sell things so cheap.

Well most of us live on mediocre salaries even we are in late 20s or 30s. Imagine you on $700 - 1000 salary and have heaps bills to pay, you would try everything to save money. I agree some of the ALDI products have flaws, but the majority of them is fine for what you paid for. If you don't like it, you can go to Costicle. I think Aldi has done a great job for saving consumers' money competitively.

        Yeah fair enough.

I never buy anything from Coles/worth unless it's on special so I try and save money that way.

        People enjoy aldi that's cool.

I just get strange when I get there.

Also I'm worried they're like the German company from. Breaking bad

          Madrigal Electromotive?

This is probably the most bizaare reason I've ever heard of someone not wanting to shop at Aldi.

  • for those in SA, Drakes have them for $13.50
    .

  • Yeah I only buy when price per roll is in the 30s….

  • +3

Not so good price, also +credit card fee.

    • Pay saving account and no charge

      • I use discount gift cards at woolies and coles, so unless Aldi's price is least 4.5-5.5% cheaper I won't consider it.

  • +3

Woolies currently have the 4-ply 30-packs for $13.

    Proper standard of comparison:
    About 23c per 100 sheets.

    $14.99/36 rolls = 41.64c per roll
    41.64c/180 = 2.3c per sheet
    2.3c * 100 = 23c per 100 sheets

    • How about the number of plys?

  • Its $13.99 at ALDI Thornleigh. Bought yesterday.
