Seems to be the pick of Amazon's price reduction on various Lego Star Wars sets.

    Yeah I had the same response, since when did Darth have a castle? Then if he did have a castle, why? Would seem like a pretty big step down from his usual digs.

      Since Rogue One, though concept work done for The Force Awakens included a similiar "Fortress Vader" like the one seen in Rogue One, that didn't make it into the final cut. The planet it's located on (Mustafar) is the same volcanic world seen at the end of Episode III, where Anakin completes his transformation as Darth Vader.

      Obviously it's been retconned into the original trilogy canon since the events of Rogue One happen just prior to A New Hope, so presumably Vader's castle existed in A New Hope as well, albeit remained unseen.

      Would seem like a pretty big step down from his usual digs.

      As far as I understand, it's supposed to be more of a mystical Sith temple than a high-tech, military installation and Vader uses it more like an off-the-grid hideout where he can go on a dark side-themed spiritual retreat from time to time (exterminating Rebel scum is mighty stressful after all), rather than a base of operations like the Death Star.
