    • Ok. I'll add it. Thanks.

I think Assassin's Creed Origins Deluxe edition is not bad at $32.95 so I'll add that too https://store.playstation.com/en-au/product/EP0001-CUSA05625…

      • deluxe edition isn't worth it imo. you get a short mission and some weapons.
now if it was the gold edition it would definitely be worth the $33

        • Good to know. What's in the Gold edition? Season Pass?

        • Nvm found it. Gold edition includes everything in the Deluxe edition plus the Season Pass.

I found a post on OzBargain at $28 plus delivery ($2.95 to my area) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/481127 if you're interested.

    • Ok thanks, I'll add it.

  • Damn, I've nearly completed Witcher 3 first edition but It seems that GOTY is incompatible with the saved games. https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/cant-impor…

    • If I didn't see it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it, but you're right!

Here's a suggestion from CD Projekt Red

Q6: Can I transfer my existing saves or do I need to start over?

A: If you own the base game on PC and you want to buy the GOTY Edition your game saves will work.

However, if you own the base game on consoles (PlayStation 4 or Xbox One) and you want to buy the GOTY Edition, our suggestion is to buy the Season Pass instead.

Should you buy the GOTY Edition, game saves from your base game will not work because the system treats the GOTY Edition as a separate product

Thanks for highlighting this issue, I have edited the post.

Ps. I did read that you can sort of get around it this way:

" You can play the main story or go directly into the expansions with the suggested level; they provide the options.

All side quests and contracts not related to the story will still be available for you to get money and xp.

Only thing you will miss is the Geralt card for Gwent, which is tied to a story mission. The other story mission cards are found in the rooms where you played Gwent to get the card."

Surely they could have done as Dying Light's deluxe edition thing did, and let the saves be imported, despite being initially incompatible. Lame.

      • That's an xbox discussion though, do you have any confirmation it works on PS4? I'll try and do more searching about it later though. Haven't bought any expansions yet I but I was going to do that in a couple of weeks and thought this would have been a better option otherwise.

        • Well spotted, the GameFaqs thread is for an xbox.

No, I haven't come across similar info re PS4, but I assume both consoles would work the same.

I'll edit it to mention it's an Xbox thread, thanks

Ps. too late, I can't edit it anymore.

          Ok, found it for PS4.

Apparently you need to finish the tutorials in the main game, before you can do that:

          https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/cannot-acc…

          • @BooYa: Can confirm GOTY on base game wont work. I bought the base game at launch, and needed to buy the expansions separately. The expansions are usually on special when GOTY is, have a look.

            • @passwordistaco: Thanks mate.

I had a look, and unfortunately I can't see the expansions on sale atm.

Ps. The base game is not compatible with the GOTY edition.

That there is supposed to be a "workaround" where you don't use the base game saves at all.

But instead play the GOTY more or less where you left off, at the level you were (after finishing the GOTY tutorial).

I can't vouch for it though.

Pps. I had a link with more info on how that was to work exactly, but I can't find it now.

I might just edit the post to say that they're not compatible, because apparently even if you use the GOTY to skip some levels/missions the game can get buggy (as in not having an item that would have been able to be picked up earlier in the game and).

In that link I lost it says you can just complete the missions you need (there was a list so you could pick up all the items).

But, like I said, I can't vouch for it, and I suspect that if you have the base game you should get the expansions, or get the GOTY and st aart from the beginning again.

@passwordistaco: I just removed the GOTY "workaround" just to be on the safe side.

  • Ohh I wish RE7 had a update to have a option for 3rd person

FP makes me sick but I sooo wanna play it
