Can't send MMS on Kogan

Hi guys.
I am having trouble sending MMS on my S10.
I am with Kogan and it was working perfectly. I was on the 365 day plan.
A week ago, the plan expired so I recharged with a large plan for 30 days.
Since then, I have been unable to send MMS, with the message failing.

Kogan told me that there's is nothing wrong on their end and that it is probably because of the file size limit of 300kb, but that is not the case as I am trying a 45kb image (and Textra auto compresses anyway).

Mobile data is turned on and I don't have any other issues.
Any ideas?

  • Try going into Access Point Names in the Settings menu and see if the correct entry for Kogan is there?

    • It says live.vodafone.com so I believe it is correct.

    Silly suggestion but make sure your wifi is off and data is turned on. If your APN settings are correct and you're able to browse with mobile data then it should be ok. Only other thing I can think off is if your default MMS is set to another app rather than the android default messaging…

      OK so it is working now!

      Textra was definitely not working and would "fail to send". I restarted the phone, and nothing changed.
      Then, I made the Samsung app the default, sent an MMS and it worked.
      So, I switched back to Textra, and now that works too.

      Weird. Thanks - your mention about the app pointed me in the right direction.
