    delivery is a killer

    • Do you mind if I ask your postcode? Delivery is an ongoing challenge and we're trying to work out the best options

        4700

        • Oh yeah. North Queensland. It's going to get better in the next month or two when we start dispatching from QLD as well as NSW, but yeah at the moment it can be a killer for the heavier items. We're working on it!!!

A few select delivery price ranges for those who might want to know before they head over

    2000 - $7.45
    2333 - $13.55
    3000 - $11.70
    4000 - $11.70
    6000 - $20.55
    0800 - $30.30

This is going to run out really quickly. We've moved to a new warehouse but it's running low order numbers for the next week so we're limiting quantities to sell.

Thanks for that! More companies could learn from you! :)

Edit: Regardless if you're associated with the infamous Gerald that everyone seems to hate around here.

      • If you're lucky, sometimes Gerald comes into these threads and checks up on me

    • 29.95 postage to 6725 for me. think it'd be cheaper for me to keep shopping at woolies…

:( With currently only one distribution centre delivery is going to remain higher for WA. Keep an eye out though things they may be a changin'

Personally i LOVE THIS idea.. but in terms of prices.. if people look hard enough you can find stuff for around the same price.. the delivery is a killer.. i thought it was a bargain until the delivery kicked in =/

    What about front loader liquid?

    • Not yet. But soon.

      • Soon.

OK I'll hold off on my washing for now.

Yeah, delivery costs more than the product for me. It'd be a great deal for Sydney-siders.

As it is, it's cheaper to buy 3.3L bottles from Coles.

    • Sorry tantryl :(

Was about to buy…. but 20.55 delivery?? more than doubles the price!

    • Mind if I ask your postcode? Edit: I'm going to assume WA. Duh.

Just been looking around your website a lot of your big buys aren't particularly cheap.

    This, for example http://www.harveynormanbigbuys.com.au/BuyDetailsPage.aspx?it…

We bought this for our daughter at target for $29.

    • When you say "a lot" can you specify? Occasionally these products may be found cheaper at a local store, but one of my jobs is to stay vigilant on online price comparisons. I found this product $3 cheaper out of a couple of dozen online retailers and like always I pass this feedback on to the people with the power

Edit: and the same site that had this product $3 cheaper has this product http://www.harveynormanbigbuys.com.au/BuyDetailsPage.aspx?it… for $10 more. I'm not saying we're going to be the cheapest on everything all the time, but I would make the suggestion that we're more often than not the cheapest.

Yeah, i've seen that walker at Kmart/target for under $30

Also, the Fisher Price Rainforest portable swing http://www.harveynormanbigbuys.com.au/BuyDetailsPage.aspx?it…
It was $69 before, and now it's $89. It's cheaper than elsewhere (when stores aren't on special) but i was tossing up whether to get one at $69, and now it's $20 more :(

        • You've got 2 hours. I may have sneakily put it down. The BiG BUY of the day price sometimes goes up after the 24 hours. Buuuuuuut I have some powers.

At 7pm it's going back up.

        • Thanks Oztrez, but I'm just online now and missed ur 7pm cutoff. Cudos for lowering the price but any chance of lowering the price back to $69 (or even less :D ) for a longer time period, say all day tomorrow?

Who can I email about delivery instructions? (besides the 'webbased' form?)

    • Email me at [email protected] and I'll pass it along

The colour scheme on Harvery Norman BB is awfully similar to that of Officeworks!

    • Blue and red?

Don't forget Tassie, how much to 7000?? People always forget to include our state and it annoys me, we shop too!

    • I'll put Tassie in my next estimate list. At the moment it's $20.30, but it will be coming down. We're working on logistics
