Shoe goo alternative? For cricket bat toe guard

Just got a bat and had shoe goo applied on it.

I was wondering if theres any good replacement for it as its pretty expensive at $15 a tube

Basically need anything that dries into semi hard rubber and is clear.

Some alternatives I thought of were selleys shoe goo or their liquid nails maybe.

edit: looking for a online or NSW solution.

Thanks

Silly Sollys had some shoe-glue for $3-4 a few months ago, worked well!

  • Buy a toe guard? The link below is just a suggestion, but surely an OzBargainer would have the ability to hunt around for a good deal

    • No offence, but toe guards are very over rated, one solid hit to the pitch and it comes off.

Goo's are much more stable, and you can join them around the front of the bat for more protection also.
