QFF Classic Rewards - Finding Return Flights

Hi all,

Wife and I have been accumulating points for a while now and have well over 500,000 points.

We decided to book a First Class Ticket to Amsterdam in Late August 2020 (maybe we'll do an AMA Similar to this dude: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/481095)

Now we're trying to find our way back home but finding the Qantas Classic reward searcher extremely painful.
It appears the August 2020 Business/First Class Flights back to Melbourne (From Greece) are already sold - or not released?

Is there any way to get notified of Business/First class flights as they appear? I saw some older posts about expertflyer.com - but the site looks outdated and doesn't mention anything about Classic Rewards monitoring.

    They're gone.

    Europe to Australia in August is one of the most popular routes and the most popular times of the year. People snap up reward tickets the second they become available.

    You may get lucky and an airline will release more award seats closer to the date, but don't count on it.

    My suggestion would be to start looking at creative routings (eg coming back to Australia via Japan) or be prepared to stump up the exorbitant amount of cash for a one way fare.
