No preference if sheltered or collapsible
Those things fall apart if it isn't sheltered and is exposed to afternoon sun.
Nothing to suggest in the price range you're looking at. Just a heads up that I had an acacia set I suspect was made in the same factory (most places ship these from Vietnam/Indonesia).
It survived about a year. I couldn't open them after that. Everything warped a little.
Thanks for the advice if I do go for these.
I plan on putting covers on them to minimise exposure
@innov: Consider non foldable if you're going to cover.
Also, tarps get very hot underneath. Heat also warps timber.
Cheaper isn’t always better, especially when it comes to something that has to stand up to the outside elements.

I picked up the Applaro 8 seater set about 6 months ago and it is great. Can extend it when people come over, otherwise I have it folded down under the cover and the extra chairs stored elsewhere.
Comfy and well designed.
