I've been watching OzBargains for good value receiver's at around the $500 mark. The recently posted specials for the Pioneer VSX920 are great value, but it lacks the audio return channel feature.

I note that the VSX921 does have this feature but it is not priced in my range.
Any suggestions?

Yes according to the link below, but I am not sure if all receivers which have HDMI 1.4 have ARC:

I guess any receiver which can't do 1.4 should be excluded from the search.
IIRC the Onkyo TX-SR308 has ARC. Bing Lee were doing them for $369 so I wouldn't wanna pay much more than that for one if I were you! ;)
Yes since I first posted this, I have been trawling all over the ecellent bang-for-your-buck Onkyo's such as the TX-SR578, 508, which have been mentioned here in recent times.
The TX-SR578 did very well in a Choice review, but is hard to find now given it is an old model.

Has the cheapest price (AU $479.00), but it is a Refurb. Seems to have free delivery.
Just to clarify the Audio Return Feature you're looking for is HDMI 1.4 only?
