Help Fellow OzB, Just Want to Clarify - How Do I Transfer Velocity Points?

Hey guys,

Look I know it's a dumb post but I need to xfer some velocity points, I literally don't know how to do it?
Do you normally share your velocity FF account with people? How do people normally get paid?

I'm curious, want to avoid potential scams and stuff? Presumably a few members here do it regularly ,but I'll be damned if I can find instructions on what most people normally do.

  1. Arrange on classfieds
  2. Pretend receiver is a family member - fifth cousin, twice removed by marriage, related to cat's best mate's owner
  3. Attempt to transfer points
  4. Get caught by Virgin and have the points voided and both accounts cancelled
  5. Get "priority seating" in the the cargo hold with smelly dogs each time you fly Virgin in future
  6. Post on Ozbargain saying Virgin is not being fair to you, with mspaint.exe diagram to show exactly what happened
  7. Receiver of points will also post on Ozbargain asking how to get the money back from you
  8. Try again with Qantas

      Why did you reply to my comment, then? If a heap of people can do it and you can't, maybe it says something about you. I'm not acting holier than thou (despite you voluntarily damning yourself), more laughing that you are basically asking for instructions for how how to scam without getting scammed. Oh, and stuff.

  Roughly how many points involved?
  Direct deposit/cash would be "safest"
  Just hand over your account if that's an option. Avoids the risks associated with transfer.
