Relax Travel Explore Thailand

Hi, I mention my intention: I would be interested to join with someone in Thailand. My interests: eat healthy (love Thai), travel, explore, fishing, water sports (not strenuous), etc. Very laid back and carefree. I know/love Thailand in every respect, been there countless times, speak Thai, etc. I live on Gold Coast and need a change of wallpaper. Any ideas/interest?

  • What’s your background how can you speak thai

  • Worked in Thailand for 7 years in the ealy seventies, No I am in retirement, still fit and adventourous, German by birth, 30 odd years in Aussieland, know every "streetcorner" in Thailand, but still love/that country/people/customs. Over there I always rent a car and take off…..

  • My wife and I love Thailand but weren't even born when you were working there. We visit Thailand at least a couple times annually for the past 10+ years and would one day retire/base ourselves there so we can explore more of the world. We have been to 59 countries so far so I guess we have been quite fortunate in that respect. My wife said she would love to volunteer at any dog or cat charity/shelter so that could fill in our time and do something with meaning (when we aren't travelling). I want to live in Bangkok in a luxury condominium (but they're expensive and make Sydney house prices look cheap) and my wife wants to go north and be in Chiang Mai, as they say happy wife = happy life.

Maybe if you want laid back and relaxing, then one of the many less known islands? I'd be even tempted to suggest Koh Phangan (yes the infamous full moon party island) but when its not in FMP time, it can be seriously laid back, travel by scooter all around the island without any traffic jams, mingle with the locals and be accessible to inland mountains, as well as coastal adventure and sports. Accessible to Koh Samui and more. Wow, now that made me think and visualise about my future. Good luck!

  • I live in Thailand, Udon Thani. If you are ever up here send a message.
