Spyware detected by AVG Security Pro app after install. Looks like a great app, but not if it captures my personal information and sends it to others for identity theft. Developer needs to talk to AVG if detecting a false positive. (March 9, 2019)
I've tried to replicate the ad from opening from a widget and I haven't had any type of ad pop up after tapping through about 10 times (closing app after each open).
I'll uninstall it in any case, I have no use for it and Google/DDG works well enough.
I'll probably never use it as a quick google search usually gives tailored results however this app seems really good. It supports lots of units and the interface is simple and clear.

You'd hope the conversions weren't "tailored" though.

Contains programming errors:
Lots of conversion options, but there is a bug with the thousands separator (comma), it occurs every 2 digits instead of every 3 digits. For example, one million should be 1,000,000 but instead looks like 10,00,000. When the numbers get very big this bug makes it very confusing. (July 16, 2019)
The main screen displays portrait (0°) and reverse portrait (180°), but all other activities display portrait (0°) only. With this lack of attention to detail with the programming, I cannot trust the conversions (plus, I cannot hold my device in the 0° orientation). The developer was notified of this inconsistency some time back, but has made no attempt to correct it. (September 20, 2018)
Outdated currency conversion rates (looks like they only update when the app itself is updated):
Boasted of pulling updated exchange rates from net, but really giving me a year old exchange rate for my currency. (June 14, 2019)
Currency is not updated, last is from 28.01.2018 (June 16, 2019)
Currency rates are a joke, they should be updated manually every few hours. They're one month old now. (October 7, 2019)

Good app, however, I'm finding I'm using Google Assistant 99% of the time for conversions these days.
Handy if in an environment where voice assistance may not be possible.
