Perfect, I was looking for something like this for my PS Classic.

for me it’s the car music player…. i know people complain about heat, but it’s when you write they get hot, and after that it’s fine when reading except for temperature of equipment itself.

      • Exact same reason I got one

      • Used one for car, it was fine for playing. But the flashing light may be distracting depends on the position of your usb.

Also the write speed is nightmare slow, like 4MB/sec, so copying lot of songs at the last minute before you leave your house is not an option.

          Remember the 6P's

I had two of this, and both suddenly become read-only while transfering some files to the drive. Not uncommon apparently.

  • Bought one for the ps classic. Thanks, OP!

  • Thanks OP. Grabbed 2 64GB. Just perfect for the car.

    These overheat and melt.

    • Not a glib line - they do get really hot. Avoid.

    • I think that may be the USB 3.0 Ultra Fit that has the overheating problem. I've never had that issue with my Cruzer Fit.

    • Yep, had one of these and they were useless, I couldn't even transfer files because it would just stop working as it overheated after a few minutes.

Good Prices but a few $$$ more would score you a newer USB3.1 version https://www.amazon.com.au/SanDisk-64GB-Ultra-Flash-Drive/dp/…

    • Looks to be all plastic construction, which isn't great. USB spec specifies metal plugs because they act as shielding. I had a cheap all plastic Sandisk USB once that would put out enough noise to prevent my wireless mouse working (and took a long time to work out that was the cause!).

  • Any specials on a fast usb drive with solid construction?

These are fairly useful for Raspberry Pi's.

  • I lost previous 2 of this.

  • Quite tempted to get one yet also worried that I will lose it since it's tiny :I

  • I've been using one in my wii for about a month, never had an heating issues.
