Does The Australian Apple Store Ever Have Refurbished iPhones?

I've looked a few times and it never seems to. I've bought a refurbished Mac Mini from them and it's great, so keen to do the same with an iPhone. The US store seems to have them all the time.

  • Not sure about Apple but Kogan do.

    • People on here are pretty negative about Kogan so I wonder whether they can be trusted for refurbished stuff. Also not sure Apple would cover it under warranty if it was from Kogan.

      • Your choice. I've purchased from Kogan and if you know what you want you usually get it. I got no gripes with them. I like that they get grey imports which sometimes keeps the price down over the AU models (cameras etc). At least you can go back to them if there's any issue. Everyone has their own opinion but you know what they say about opinions..

    • Have you ever bought one from Kogan? I'm looking at getting my daughter one for when she starts high school next year but I've never bought anything from them before and have heard mixed reviews.

    • +1

Apple refurbished is not the same as Kogan (any brand refurbished). Apple refurbished are basically brand new with normal Apple warranty. All other refurbished phone uses non-genuine Apple parts with questionable quality.

  • no

  • No

  • Your question is, actually, somewhat imprecise.

Yes, they do have refurbished phones as they give them out as replacements for people's faulty phones.
No, you can't buy them as a refurbished phone.

Boost also does refurbished phones, and you get a $30 SIM with them.

  • You mean the Online site right? They do, but as soon as they put any up, people buy them really quick

    • Thanks

  • Yeah they do but you have to be quick, they tend to be last years models around the time of new releases
