    Nothing a $6 Kmart frying pan won’t fix. 😇

Losing some weight (even a little bit) is a far better solution, if you want to stop snoring.

    • Exactly that - losing some weight helps! I used to snore and with a keto diet, lost weight and said goodbye to snoring (unless I was really tired that day).

It's worth a try first but not a solution for everyone though. I dropped from 84kgs to 68kgs and my heavy snoring remained the same.

I agree. Weight loss can help reduce snoring. In some cases, it is the anatomy of the airway that leads to snoring even if a person is not overweight. Thin people also snore.

As a sufferer of sleep apnea, I can tell you that snoring is primarily a hereditary condition. Losing weight, reducing alcohol consumption, diet, etc, can help but if you suspect you have sleep apnea I highly recommend you get yourself tested. A referral from your GP to a sleep specialist is all you need to do. Untreated sleep apnea has some horrific long term effects.

      • Being diagnosed with sleep apnoea can affect your ability to be covered by insurance (life/income protection etc)

        • That should be the least of your worries. Untreated sleep apnea can result in the following: high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, heart failure, diabetes, depression, ADHD, chronic headaches, migraines, glaucoma, poor circulation. I could go on.

  • Would love to know if anyone has tried these! Been bugged for months by wife to try and find some solutions…

    • Not this one but i had one made up by a proper dental specialist. $1500. Couldn't use it the damn thing was so uncomfortable.

    • I would be a bit wary to cheap out on my health.

The first step should be to get a sleep study from a sleep physician to rule out Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

Best to go to a sleep physician rather than a place that just sells stuff and you never even see a doctor.

      • Yes, if you have obstructive sleep apnea see a doctor. VitalSleep is helpful for snoring.

Tried these Vitalsleep crap before.. and NO they are not worth it. Damn uncomfortable. Doesn't properly work and you'll most likey take them off due to pressure on your jaw and teeth. Out to the bin they went. Money back Guarantee is a sure way to lose money on Expensive Postage returning them back!

10% discount pops up on exit with email address. So this isn’t a new discount.

If your snoring is bad, you should have a sleep study done first, these are really for mild apena. If yours is worse this won’t help. Also weight thing can be a factor, but not in all cases. My fiancé is as skinny as they come and snores like a champion.

    • Correct. The product page with 3 free gifts plus $10 off is a new offer. You can use the discount code OzBargain10 as stated in listing to save 10% or the exit pop up discount. Both coupon codes will give you an additional 10% discount off the special offer page and you will get $10 off, a free bottle of cleaner, contoured sleep mask, and earplugs.

  • SnoreWizard worth a look for the same thing but much cheaper and local. Generic code 'SW1019' (replace with current month & year) should take 20% off.

Self moulds don't always stay in, but does the trick for me when it does. Handy in hostels to avoid getting taken out in your sleep…

  • now thats funny. the OP is also including a free gift of EAR PLUGS!

    • Yes, this offer has 3 free gifts, free shipping and a coupon code for all new buyers.

      • does it also include a "Return Shipping" for free if you are not happy with the product?

Just wondering as I recall a few years back it costs approx $40aud to return 2 vitalsleep so I couldn't be bothered.

        • Yes, you would not have to pay for return shipping.
