Xbox Game Pass for PC $1 Deal - How to Sign-Up?

With The Outer Worlds set to release tomorrow, and It's availability on Xbox Game Pass for PC, I thought now was a great time to test out the service. Only issue is, does anyone have any information about how to actually Sign-Up?

My understanding is that on this page: https://www.xbox.com/en-au/xbox-game-pass, I should select the "PC" option towards the bottom of the page, and click the "$4.95/month (Introductory price) - JOIN FOR $1" option. Once that option is selected, I'm redirected to the Microsoft homepage (https://www.microsoft.com/en-au).

Is there something I'm missing with this service and sign-up process? Has anyone who has used the $1 sign up option had any luck?

    I selected the offer for the "Ultimate Pass" for $1 which worked a while back.
    The ultimate pass includes both PC and Xbox One Game Pass.

      When I click on the PC "Join for $1" i get taken to this page which shows the $1 special offer price.

        Seems to have been a broken link, I now get "Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable." when I click the link mentioned above.

        Appreciate the correct redirect.
