All the specs of the A3 are much better. Unless you're old and need a huge screen there's no reason to get the Max3 over the A3
The screen res is very lacklustre for a phone of this price. Given that people look at their phone screen more than anything else it would be a pretty important selling point for most.
It's also hard for people to go to back to a smaller screen.
Also,battery is very important for heavy users.

Yes, the A3 is faster. But would anyone really notice?
Impressed by the mi max 3 photos. Not sure how it compares to the A3.
A3 is AMOLED which looks way better than TFT, even though the resolution is a quite a bit lower.
AND
AMOLED screen uses less power

It was actually $260 a few days ago for this colour. Generally TobyDeals are the cheapest so for them to discount it further is great value given the features of the phone.

Great phone, got the 128GB version myself.
How's the camera quality? I had the A2 Lite which I loved, battery kept kicking and the OS was great - photos were a mess though.

Gsmarena regularly leads me up the garden path. I search for phones that have 4G 700 B28 and it always throws in a few phones that, upon further investigation, I find do not have B28.
That's because often it can be market/country dependant with various model variants.
A3 is dropping really fast. Amazing you can find buyers selling the A2 for more.
