          they are in the ad?

          • @Greenbank Solar: Is it listed on your website somewhere so that we can link to it directly?

            • +1

@moocher: not so, but I can have my IT guy add a listing if I must. I wanted to keep this as a solely ozbargain price.

  • Do you have to go through the Vic solar rebates nitemare…?

    • This is Brisbane, Queensland only.
We don't operate in other states.
Victoria is most definitely a nightmare!

  • +3

Think its a nightmare everywhere, installers going bust and leaving poor homeowners with a disaster to deal with.

    • The industry is in a bit of a shambles blackwalnut, thatis for sure.
All we can do at the moment is ride it out.
Hopefully things will take a turn for the better in the not so distant future.

    • Yep, I just found this out. I wanted additional panels but the installer went bust. No company will touch it. Only way I can get it done is to have the entire system removed and a new one put in.

      • how old is your current system?
        how big is it?
what products were used on it?

the regulations have changed so much over recent times that a lot of older systems are a bit of hard work to bring up to current compliance.
also, a lot of older products are no longer on the approved cec list, meaning you cant put new panels on an old inverter.

        • About 5 years, 12 panels, 4Kw inverter that is still on the approved list. Couldnt tell you the brands off the top of my head though.

        • Growatt 4200MTL

  • So you are honering the warranty for any faulty panels as in replacing them free of charge since they don't have an Australian office
