The old packaging was much better, they used to be 5.2% also
Spearhead pale ale used to be one of my faves. They have changed the recipe and reduced the alc. % from 5.2% to 4.6%, likely to do with being taken over by Asahi.
It doesn't mention "spearhead" on the packaging now, just Pale Ale. Anyway, TLDR… bland beer now, nowhere near as good as the original.
Damn. That's a hard pass from me then. I remember the pale being ok. Pretty drinkable. If they've dropped the ABV to 4.6% it's probably pisswater now.

Haven't tried these beers but I saw you can get TED (Tooheys Extra Dry) for $36 from BWS using Woolworths shopping receipt. Decently refreshing beer when super chilled.
