Budget Dual-Monitor Setup

Whats a good value setup for dual monitors? not for gaming really, mainly office work and Revit, Sketchup, bit of video editing.

budget is around $300 to 400 for 2 free standing monitors. Probably an ultrawide is better for res, colour, and workflow, not to mention cable management, but budget is my main issue.

Planning on hooking it up to a 15in gaming laptop with 1 displayport, 1 hdmi. Probably will use 2 in 1 out splitter if necessary.

Seems too many people at once, but a good deal nonetheless.

Dell outlet might have some stuff?
Most important would be if you have any particular requirements for screen size, resolution, display tech etc.

Because it seems like you could just grab a couple of sub-$200 24" monitors from officeworks or something and be done.
